Prototype photos
These are photos of the CAD-designed and CNC machined prototype.  As you can see, the only electrical components are the motor, an up-down toggle switch, a bridge rectifier, and power cord.  95% can be made from injection-molded plastics.  The only metal parts needed are the motor, a 1/8" x 1/2" guide strip, and a few screws.  This puts the cost of parts, assembly, and packaging at less than $10 USD, and could be made in USA to create jobs and revenue. The video was made in 2003 to show the wide variety of bottles and jars the Jaromatic can open. About 12 minutes long. (Upper left corner photo.)
